Lisa,

It has now been ten years today since that event in Baton Rouge that will remain in my memory forever. So many things have transpired and changed in those years, both to you and to me. One thing that will never change is my love for you. We both know the kind of love I am talking about here, and it is a pure love that God would approve.

You are still that sweet beautiful person you were to me then, and all your fans love you for who you are. You are the best singer in the world, and I know many people that believe this.

Lisa, you are still the most important person in the world that I want to meet, and we know I have met you many times, and you will remain that important to me. No President or Queen can rep[lace you there, or anyone else. May It Be.

Lisa, "Send Me a Song".

Jim

Members and Friends,

Lisa posted the following on her Facebook page recently about not having a concert date yet for 2018.

Friends of Lisa Kelly Singer, I want to share with you a post Lisa posted a little while ago on her Facebook page. I know many of us are so disappointed with her announcement, but it is like I told Lisa, her health is more important than any concert.

Hi everyone
I know that you are all eagerly awaiting confirmation of our date in August, but unfortunately it is not looking likely! I had to have surgery last December and I just donít feel up to a concert just yet. I hope you all understand. Iím hoping that I will be rested and healed and ready for our annual Christmas concert with The Academy! Thank you for being so patient. ❤️

Lisa needs some time to take care of herself, so the show may be in December instead.

Whatever the wait, it will be worth it.

Wishing you all the best, Lisa.

Lisa's still working on arrangements for a show this year, but it could be in late August:

For some reason I've got a bad feeling that won't be the only show of immense significance in late August. We shall see which one gets announced first...

Tom,

I didn`t get to watch the live podcast of Lisa and Chloe that night but I watched it the next day. I had been told that Lisa had said there would be a spring 2018 concert, but I failed to hear it. Glad you have confirmed Lisa said it. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

You and I will have to find a way to be there for it.

Well now...

During the Chlisa live Q+A (the "2017 Wine Down") on Facebook on December 10, 2017, Lisa confidently stated a few times that she will be doing a spring show in 2018.

Obviously it may not be at The Fred, but it will apparently go ahead somewhere.

I guess I better hope I get a good lottery ticket between now and then...  Roll Eyes

Lisa,

This day December 7th, 2008 will always be deep in my memory because I had not seen you in more than a year, and I had to be at that Barnes and Noble signing in Baton Rogue to see you and talk to you and get pictures taken with you. There were so many pictures taken with you and the other ladies of Celtic Woman, it was like a dream, and I had been turned lose to mix and mingle with all of you. This happening with the Celtic Woman ladies at that time was unheard of, and never happened.

Lisa, my wildest dreams came true that afternoon.

I'd say even if the management issue is resolved by early next year, it might be too late to start planning and promoting a show in April.  Turnout on short notice would be a concern. It might be challenging for people from out of town to make it on short notice (already have other plans, can't get time off, etc.).

I don't think a show next year is out of the question, but it would likely be later than April. A summer or Christmas show might be feasible depending on when the management situation gets fixed. My fingers are crossed.
